Celebrate National Philanthropy Day

Today is a time to pay tribute to the philanthropic work being done all around this season, and don’t forget to do your part by entering Spa Week’s Thanks-GIVEaway!

Happy National Philanthropy day! We figured there was no better day to celebrate the three honorable charities that Spa Week’s MyWellness Rewards members are helping us donate to this month. We’d like to salute all of the hard work that these charities have done this year. Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Feeding America has provided In 861,581 meals have so far in 2013 (and that’s without Thanksgiving happening yet!). More people struggle with hunger in the US than you could ever imagine (49 million, to be exact) and a one dollar donation can create NINE meals.

One Warm Coat  has given away almost four million coats since the organization was founded in 1992! Anyone can donate an unwanted coat and it will go towards a man, woman or child who truly needs it.

WISH for OUR HEROES  is a charity that provides resources to members of our armed forces, in order to make deployment a bit easier on them and their families. The only requirement for submitting a wish is that the militia member must be on active duty at the time of submission.
